For many people it was a special night with little sleep, but especially so for Niek and Mandy Brasser from Geldrop. No champagne and fireworks for these two, but a very beautiful miracle. They became proud parents of Flynn on the night of New Year’s Eve. “Exactly on the due date. Only four percent seem to be able to achieve that.”
The little boy was born at seven past five in the Máxima MC Hospital in Eindhoven. It was a hectic night for the new parents. “It is our first child and we are doing well,” father Niek said from the hospital. “It started a bit last night, just after dinner. And it continued well last night.”
Niek and Mandy are happy that this crazy night went well. “I was very relaxed, but it was a bit more work for my wife. Fortunately, it all went quite smoothly and quickly, so that is very nice,” says Niek. “And everything is fine with the little one. Everything is in order, he has already made his fingers and toes and his vocal chords heard.”
