Baumgartl takes stock of Schalke

When Timo Baumgartl signed for FC Schalke 04 in the summer of 2023, he actually wanted to be promoted to the 1st Bundesliga with the Royal Blues, but just over a year later, the Revierklub and central defenders terminated the contract after numerous disagreements. Now the 28-year-old has looked back on his time with the Royal Blues and drawn a bitter conclusion.
