Boy (12) in Groningen possibly killed by his own father: “Family is completely defeated”

The 45-year-old man arrested on Sunday for the violent death of a 12-year-old boy in Groningen is the father of the victim. A press representative of the family confirmed this to the Dutch newspaper ‘AD’. The relatives are “completely defeated and intensely sad” by the death of Gianny-Davey, a boy of Antillean descent.
