Mr. President,
I already introduced myself in my previous letter. As you well know, within the measures that are intended to be adopted with respect to the personnel of the National Entity for Water and Sanitation Works (ENOHSA), sThe dismissal of the 104 remaining workers has been announced after decree 1020/2024 that ordered its dissolution.
I have no doubt that you. It is using all possible means for the State to become an efficient administration, and the results are visible. His government has promoted a profound transformation of the Argentine economy, achieving significant progress in the fight against inflation and fiscal disorder. Likewise, in terms of security, it has adopted a new doctrine to guarantee public order and combat organized crime.
Surely, you have a team of collaborators to make decisions, but I understand that you must not be sufficiently informed about the seriousness of the definitions that are being carried out in relation to ENOHSA professionals.
In this regard, I am extremely concerned about how and with what human resources The Undersecretariat of Water Resources of the Nation will carry out the supervision and inspection of the approximately 100 (one hundred) works in execution that it will receive from that entity.considering that currently said Undersecretariat manages only a dozen projects. I remind you, Mr. President, that multimillion-dollar works are at stake, whose interruption or non-completion would imply immeasurable economic and social damage for all Argentines, with visible consequences – even – in the medium term.
Faced with the situation presented, those who inevitably lose are the National State and the Provinces, both in terms of highly qualified technical personnel and civil works for drinking water and sanitation, so necessary throughout the territory.
That is why Mr. President, I appeal to your good judgment and I bet on new information requirements about the prevailing situation, in order to prevent the abuse that they are trying to carry out from materializing.
As an ENOHSA worker, I have the professionalism, commitment and vocation that have always characterized us. That is why I make myself available to continue monitoring the works that I have been carrying out and thus ensure their correct conclusion, within the framework of an efficient State that does not waste its resources.
All of this that I express, Mr. President, is with the aim of guaranteeing that all Argentines can have access to drinking water and sewage service, and in this way contribute to positioning us as a leading country in the region.
A cordial greeting,
Dr. Ing. MARÍA SILVINA PATTERER
