The journalist Jorge Lanata He died this Monday, December 30, after a prolonged hospitalization. In his extensive career he founded Página/12 and Crítica de la Argentina, among other media. Creator, also, of television programs that were absolute ratings successes and that set the agenda, such as Día D, Periodismo Para Todos and Lanata Sin Filtro.
Throughout his career Lanata received multiple awards that enhanced their impact in the media. Among them stand out 26 Martin Fierro including the Gold Award, as well as Tato Awards, Konex Awards and ACE Awards. He was also nominated for an International Emmy for his investigation The K Money Trail, which revealed a high-profile corruption scheme.
