A traffic accident involving two cars this morning in Valthermond led to a lot of damage. Both vehicles collided at the intersection of the Drentse Mondenweg (N379) and the Dreef.
It is not known how the accident could have happened in the foggy conditions. The severely damaged cars were towed away by a recovery company.
The occupants escaped unscathed.
