“I was looking online for a manual for a cordless telephone set for my neighbor. Before I knew it, I received an invoice for 30 euros and several reminders,” Anita Anken tells HLN consumer expert Safia Yachou. The Dutch company Fixitfaster is behind the reminders, which has already misled more than 170 Belgians in just two months. “This is just the tip of the iceberg,” says the European Consumer Center, which warns about the website.
