Nathaniel Brown is currently playing big in Frankfurt. That could soon bring the 21-year-old into Julian Nagelsmann’s team.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown has put up impressive numbers in the current Bundesliga season: he scored three goals and provided four assists in eight Bundesliga games.

This is particularly notable because the winger found it difficult to get going at Eintracht in the first few months after his move from Nuremberg. The 21-year-old Brown had his breakthrough in his starting eleven debut against Bochum, when he also scored his debut goal in the 7-2 win.

As the “Bild” newspaper reports, Brown can now have legitimate hopes of being nominated for the German national team in the new year. National coach Julian Nagelsmann scouted the young left-footer intensively and gave both Brown and Eintracht positive signals for a possible nomination.

Brown himself said when choosing his U national teams: “I would prefer the German national teams. It’s my dream to be there.” The versatile player could not only be used as a left-back, but also impresses at Eintracht on the left behind the strikers or as a left rail player. This may increase his chances of being quickly called up to the DFB team.
