EU plans additional sanctions against Russia over suspected sabotage of electricity cable

The European Union will propose additional sanctions against Russia following the suspected sabotage of an electricity cable in the Baltic Sea. The European Commission and the High Representative for Foreign Policy Kaja Kallas announced this in a joint statement. The Finnish police have now started an investigation into the role of an oil tanker. The ship may have caused the damage with its anchor.
