Three pensioners testify why they are happy that they can work until 66: “I shouldn’t do it for the money. That only saves 78 euros per month”

People who are happy that they can work one more year because the statutory retirement age is rising from 65 to 66: they exist and there are many of them. This was evident from the responses our editorial staff received. Three of them tell us why. “If I don’t work for longer that year, as a self-employed person I will pay more than double the taxes on my special pension savings.”
