The man drove southwards at De Aagtenpoort, through the railway tunnel. Near the tunnel he was verbally abused by three men. Two of them jumped on a scooter, chased the victim and kicked him off his bike.
The victim managed to escape, but was left with injuries to his leg and face. The men took his bicycle and left for the Spoorsingel.
Shortly after the assault, the man encountered a man and a woman who also saw the suspects. The police would like to get in touch with the couple.
The stolen bicycle is gray and has a striking pink saddle cover. The police have released the descriptions of the three suspects.

The first suspect is between 17 and 19 years old, has a slightly tanned skin color and a stocky build. He is between 1.80 and 1.85 centimeters tall, was wearing a dark colored tracksuit and a light gray cap.
The second suspect is also between 17 and 19 years old, slightly tanned and between 1.80 and 1.85 centimeters tall. Like suspect one, he wore a cap and a dark tracksuit. He also wore a long, black coat that reached just over his hips.
Like the first two boys, suspect number three is between 17 and 19 years old, slightly tanned and between 1.80 and 1.85 centimeters tall. He was wearing a track jacket with a dark blue letter V on his chest and track pants with dark blue sides.
His hair was shaved short, with straight shaven hair on his forehead.
In addition to the couple, the police are also looking for witnesses and camera images from the Spoorsingel, Aagtenpoort and Zeesterpad area.
