An unknown man robbed a toy store and a pizzeria on Hoogstraat in Eindhoven within a few minutes on Tuesday afternoon. The robber seemed unable to take anything at the toy store, after which he entered the New York Pizza branch a few dozen meters away around half past four.
He allegedly threatened staff and fled with money shortly afterwards. The police wrote this on X.
The message also shares a description of the perpetrator. This is a man of approximately 25 years old. He is 6 feet tall, has a dark complexion, and wears a blue shirt hoodie and sweatpants. He is also said to have left on a silver-gray mountain bike.
It is still unclear whether the robber was carrying a weapon. The police sent a Burgernet report and asked witnesses to come forward.
