NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The euro fell below 1.04 US dollars on Tuesday. The common currency last cost 1.0390 dollars. The European Central Bank set the reference rate at 1.0395 (Monday: 1.0393) US dollars. The dollar therefore cost 0.9620 (0.9621) euros.
