The driver of a large American pick-up truck lost control on the A2. That happened at the Hogt junction in Eindhoven. A dog was checked after the crash, but was ultimately found to be fine.

After an overtaking maneuver, the car left the highway and then entered the N2 via the embankment. A meter cupboard was also removed from the ground.

All occupants of the car were unharmed, but the Eindhoven ring road had to be closed for some time because it was littered with mud from the roadside and parts of the car and meter cupboard. The road was therefore closed up to the exit with the High Tech Campus so that sweeping could take place safely.
