Andrea Compagno was 15 years old when he left his hometown of Palermo for the first time. From the Rosanero youth sector to that of Catania, before also leaving Sicily for northern Italian football. Lots of wandering, looking for his place in the world. Always in attack, with goals in his blood. Lots of Serie D (Due Torri, Pinerolo, Argentina, Borgosesia and Nuorese), a bit of San Marino (Tre Fiori), up to the big stages in Romania (Craiova and especially Steaua Bucharest) and China, with the Tianjin Jinmen Hu shirt (19 goals in 29 appearances) and a contract expiring on December 31st. Andrea, who in 2022 had risen to the forefront of sports news for being the most prolific Italian footballer of the calendar year (24 goals with Steaua), is now back in Palermo. With suitcases in hand, ready for yet another great adventure.
