There is a group of shoplifters active throughout the country who steal thousands of euros worth of items. This mainly happens at branches of drugstore Kruidvat. In Bureau Brabant, the police released recognizable images of the thieves on Monday.
It shows that the perpetrators struck at a store in Sint Willebrord at the end of November. It concerns a woman and two men, of whom you would not initially think that they belong together.
The thieves walk separately through the store with a basket in their hand and collect all kinds of valuable products. First they put everything in toiletry bags, which are put away for a while. Later they put everything in a backpack. They also come back a second time. This way, the group manages to steal a lot of stuff without paying.

Camera images also show that the thieves operate ingeniously in Twello and Deventer in Gelderland. One of the men uses a tent from the store to cover the view. As a result, it is difficult to see on the camera that he is putting the things in the backpack.
When the man walks out of the store a little later and the alarm goes off, he has disappeared before the staff can check what is going on. In Deventer, three thousand euros worth of items are stolen.
The police suspect that the thieves are stealing through the country as a group and in different formations. People who recognize the thieves are urged to come forward.
