Borussia Dortmund defeated VfL Wolfsburg 3-1 in the 15th week match of the Bundesliga played at Volkswagen Arena.
In the first half of the match, Nuri Şahin’s students continued their effective play and took the lead with Donyell Malen’s goal in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Julian Brandt doubled the difference with a goal from Micky Beier’s assist. In the 30th minute, Brandt sent the ball into the net after Beier’s pass, making the score 3-0. The first half ended with this score.
Although Wolfsburg got hopeful in the second half with Denis Vavro’s goal in the 58th minute, Dortmund defense managed to keep the score and finished the match with a 3-1 victory.
With this result, Borussia Dortmund reached 25 points in the Bundesliga and maintained its 6th place. VfL Wolfsburg remained in 11th place with 21 points.
