Prince Harry’s and the duchess Meghan’s The giant gamble, or the Poolo documentary released on Netflix on December 10, has not been successful in the eyes of critics. Now also an old friend of the prince Tommy Severn gives snow to a documentary describing horse polo and the life of the rich, says Daily Mail.

Polo captain Severn, who played with William and Harry, considers the documentary “really strange”. A friend wonders how little of Harry himself is shown in the polo documentary.

– It seemed to handle more Timmy and Tim Dutta like a prince who is only seen at the end of the documentary series, he commented.

Severn is also of the opinion that Harry can never return to Britain.

– Harry has now cut ties, so if he came back now, he would look like an idiot, says Severn.

– William might help him because they were close, that’s the bond of brothers.

The comment is rather bluntly made by an old friend whose stables the princes used to keep their horses. Harry also spent a gap year at the Severn family farm in Argentina. However, this history is not discussed in the Polo documentary.

Prince Harry and Meghan act as the respective producers of the five-part series through their company Archewell. Streaming service Netflix’s new documentary series Polo, as the name suggests, focuses on polo. In the trailer polo is presented as a lifestyle that does not lack glamour. It also deals with the relationships between fathers and sons and their stumbling blocks, of which Harry also has personal experience.

Archewell and Netflix signed an 80 million pound, or nearly 100 million euro, contract in 2020. It expires next year.
