The Warmest Week is the largest media production of the year for VRT. In figures that means 146 hours of live radio, 29 performances and 3,136 or about 2 kilometers of lights. But a lot of people are also rolling up their sleeves here.
“For VRT this will be around 200 people per day. This ranges from cameramen to radio directors, television directors, cable haulers, presenters, editors… In addition, the city uses 86 volunteers per day to clean up waste and replace garbage bags,” says project leader Simon Van de Gracht.
