The singer and his partner reveal everything about their pregnancy to the weekly magazine. «We are in the sixth month», they say. For them it is a desired child. «We wanted to give Stella a brother. Being an only child has made me a somewhat solitary, taciturn person, I wouldn’t have minded having a bit of a mess at home”, explains Ilaria.
Hence the decision to expand the family. For the couple it is a child desired and sought for a certain period of time. Then, it was fate that did the rest. «We tried for a while but it wasn’t coming, it finally happened when we freed ourselves from the thought. A lady on the train told me: “trying too hard” is not good, a child comes when you are more at peace, lighter”, they reveal.
A boy, will be born in April
Giuliano Sangiorgi and Ilaria Macchia are waiting for a boy. Little Stella, therefore, will soon have a little brother. The little one will be born in Aprilas revealed by the parents. Which, however, they decided to keep the name top secret. «We won’t say this, but the name will certainly have a connection with my family, just as Stella is the name of Ilaria’s great-grandmother», reveals Giuliano Sangiorgi. Adding: «However, he won’t be called like my father: even if I’m from the South and it would be normal to give him my dad’s name, there will always only be one of Gianfranco Sangiorgi.”

By expanding his family, Giuliano Sangiorgi feels like an exception «in an Italy that no longer has children”. «We have to throw ourselves. Of course, there are all the problems we know about: work, uncertainty, the family burden which is still often all on women, women who are discriminated against at work. But there is also a cultural factor” says a Vanity. «We have more friends without children than with. How is this possible? Obviously I’m not saying that someone has to have a baby if they don’t want one, but why all this fear of generating?”you ask. And he concludes by hoping that “we can recover a bit of levity in this sense”.
