Abuse
The latest sentence came on November 1. Shahoodh was convicted of assault in the District Court of Varsinais-Suomen.
Shahoodh hit his dating partner in the face in the mouth and nose area, and once on the back of the head during an argument. As a result of the abuse, in addition to pain, the victim suffered at least swelling and redness in the area of the mouth and nose, a bump on the head and profuse bleeding from the nose.
Shahoodh himself denied the abuse. However, according to the district court, the evidence presented by the prosecutor indicated that Shahoodh has committed the crime.
Shahoodh was sentenced to fine. In addition, he was sentenced to pay 80 daily fines, which made his income 1360 euros.

Previous criminal record
According to Ilta-Sanom Shahoodh has previously been convicted of, among other things, two assaults, violent resistance to official authority, and gross and basic endangering traffic safety in the past.
Shahoodh’s second conviction for second assault also came to light with the assault of a dating partner.
Shahoodh was sentenced for the second assault on November 15, 2023 to suspended imprisonment. The trial period of the sentence ends on 31 May 2025.
The prosecutor demanded that the punishment be enforced with the abuse of the dating partner, because Shahoodh had committed a new crime of assault right at the beginning of the probationary period. The prosecutor’s request was rejected. The district court justified its decision by the fact that Shahoodh assaulted his dating partner with blows made with his open palm, which, according to the district court, can be compensated by a fine.
