Director James Gunn pulled it off and can now present the first teaser trailer for the new “Superman”. Seen for the first time: 31-year-old David Corenswet (known from “Twisters”), who this time has taken on the role of the iconic protagonist after Superman was last played by Henry Cavill.

In cinemas in summer 2025

“Superman” will flicker on the big screens from July 10, 2025. The focus in this new work: Showing the human side of the superman.

In addition to David Corenswet as the new Clarke Kent, Emmy winner Rachel Brosnahan (“House of Cards”) also stars as Lois Lane. The antagonist of the new DC adventure is played by Nicholas Hoult (“Nosferatu”).
