Originally from a humble neighborhood in Avellaneda, province of Buenos Aires, Laura lived until she was 29 in an environment marked by economic limitations, but full of values transmitted by her parents. “They instilled in me the importance of education to have a better future. In their own way and with great overprotection, they gave me what they didn’t have,” he remembers.
From an early age, Laura showed unwavering determination. After finishing high school, she decided to study a career as a Public Accountant, while working in various fields to support herself. However, at age 20 she faced one of the biggest challenges of her life: being a single mother. “Having and raising my daughter, who is now 24 years old, alone was very difficult, but I never gave up on my goal. I graduated when I was 33, and that was one of the greatest achievements of my life,” he says proudly.
In 2018, Laura made a decision that would change her life forever: she quit her last job to start her own business. “I was not prepared, I was very afraid and went through very difficult times, but I could not continue postponing my dreams.” With only a second-hand notebook and the space that a friend lent her in her accounting studio, she took the first steps in a professional adventure that, although it began with difficulties, is now consolidated.
Currently, Laura works from home in a space that reflects her effort and dedication, offering online accounting services to a varied portfolio of clients that includes SMEs, registered managers and monotributistas. His specialty is the area of taxes, providing constant advice, settlement of taxes and salaries, preparation and presentation of balance sheets, and income certifications.
Beyond technical services, Laura highlights that the relationship with her clients is based on honesty and cordial treatment. “My priority is that the client feels safe and confident when leaving their interests in my hands. Honesty and cordial treatment are fundamental pillars for me.”
Reflecting on her path, Laura does not hesitate to affirm that all the difficulties she faced were necessary to build the woman she is today. “I had to go through each of those situations to learn to trust myself, value myself and be true to myself. “I wouldn’t change anything about my past.” With that conviction, Laura continues working on her personal and professional evolution, demonstrating that, with effort and authenticity, dreams are achievable.
