Madonna is currently working with Stuart Price on new music, rumored to be released in 2025. The “Material Girl” singer announced this on Instagram. It would be her 15th studio record after “Madame X” (2019).
“I’m so excited”
“Working on new music with Stuart Price has been medicine for my soul over the last few months,” the 66-year-old wrote on her Instagram channel on December 16th. There is also a video that shows her creative work together with the music producer Price. The Caption: “Songwriting and making music is the only area where I don’t have to ask anyone for permission… I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025!” However, the American left out more details.
Collaboration has proven itself over the years
Price has been working with Madonna for years. The 47-year-old took on the role of musical director on the “Drowned World Tour” in 2001. This also applies to the “Re-Invention World Tour” (2004), the “Confessions Tour” (2006) and the most recent concert tour for the record “Celebration” (2023). He also remixed and co-wrote dozens of songs with the singer.
The house artist also gained great fame through his work on Madonna’s tenth album “Confession On A Dance Floor” from 2005.
Madonna still wants to film a biopic
The “Frozen” interpreter doesn’t just seem to be working on new music at the moment – as “Musikexpress” reported in November 2024, Madonna also wants to get the production of her biopic going again. In 2023, the pop star canceled the project in which Julia Garner was supposed to play the main role. However, in July 2024, she posted pictures on social media of herself sitting at a typewriter with the words “Who’s That Girl” written on the sheet inside – the potential title of the work. However, there is currently no concrete information about the continuation of the film adaptation of her life.
