A preliminary hearing took place today in the Alkmaar court in the case surrounding a series of shootings on properties linked to Gaby H., who was previously convicted of drug trafficking. 22-year-old Amir A. and 19-year-old Nouaman A., both from Amsterdam, are on trial for shooting at H.’s mother’s home. The two were arrested in Nieuw-Vennep on the night of September 8 to 9, shortly after an assault rifle was found in their car.
According to the public prosecutor, there is sufficient evidence that the suspects used the weapon to shoot at the house in Nieuw-Vennep. “The phone of the suspect (Amir A., ed.) showed that he was going to pick someone up in Nieuw-Vennep, after which the incident took place. A witness also told a few things. Camera images show that the suspects take the gun out of the car and fire it.” The weapon allegedly malfunctioned during loading.
