Israel carried out intense attacks on military sites in Syria’s coastal Tartous region during the night from Sunday to Monday. This was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Social media shows images of a large fireball over the region after an Israeli attack. These are said to be “the heaviest attacks since 2012” in the coastal region of Tartous, where there is also a Russian naval base.
