Pius Paschke is currently the measure of all things in ski jumping. And on Sunday too he flew away from everyone.

Pius Paschke triumphed again at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt. The DSV-Adler won by just 0.4 points ahead of the Austrian Michael Hayböck. Hayböck flew 3.5 meters further in the first round. But in the second round the overall leader was able to overtake. The Norwegian Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal came third.

Paschke also won the super team with Andreas Wellinger on Friday and the first individual on Saturday. He easily defended the yellow jersey of the overall leader in the Black Forest. He significantly expanded his lead.

Before the Four Hills Tournament begins on December 29th, there is the World Cup in Engelberg, Switzerland. Paschke celebrated his first individual success there last year.

The other Germans behind Paschke had a little more trouble in front of 7,500 spectators. Former world champion Markus Eisenbichler (137 and 138 meters) took 13th place. Andreas Wellinger didn’t get past 14th place one day after fourth place. Karl Geiger (17th) and Philipp Raimund (30th) also reached the second round.
