The driver of a black Volkswagen Golf has lost his driving license for six months after a crazy drive on the A59. He was caught speeding along the A59 near Sprang-Capelle at speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour. The police published images of the chase this week.
The Golf already caught the attention of the officers, who were driving an inconspicuous surveillance car, when it had already reached a considerable speed when driving away from traffic lights. When the driver slowed down, the officers assumed they would not see him again.

They were therefore surprised when the driver came rushing past again at high speed a short time later. That was the sign for them to follow the car longer. It then turned out that the driver was not only driving at a very high speed, but was also not averse to tailgating.
“This is normally very dangerous, but at these speeds it is completely dangerous,” the police emphasize. “If the car in front of you has to brake suddenly for whatever reason, you will never be able to brake in time.
