THEhe most famous kitchen on television reopens. Tonight at 9.15pm on Sky Uno – and streaming on NOW – the first episode of MasterChef 2024. New aspiring competitors they are ready to conquer the judges to obtain the coveted apron. There are many new features in this editionbranded Endemol Shine Italy, which will give the winner 100 thousand euros in gold tokens, the publication of his own recipe book and an advanced training course at ALMA – The international school of Italian cuisine.
Masterchef 2024 starting tonight on Sky with new competitors
After the victory of Eleonora Riso, who will be the new Italian MasterChef? It’s still early to imagine, but from this evening viewers will begin to get to know the dozens of amateur chefs who will take turns in the kitchen. The identity of the contestants is top secret, but Sky says that they are of all ages and of different origins, social and cultural backgrounds. They have in common the passion for cooking and the determination necessary to beat the competition.
At the center of the two episodes, the Live Cooking, during which each aspiring chef will try to gain access to the Masterclass. To achieve this he will have to convey his own idea of cooking through a dish, which will go under scrutiny by judges Bruno Barbieri, Antonino Cananvacciuolo and Giorgio Locatelliin their sixth season together. If he gets 3 yeses, he will be admitted by right. With 2 yes, however, it will be put on standby. With only 1 yes, he will go home.
To prepare the recipe, he will have 40 minutes and 5 to complete the dish in front of the jury and explain its genesis. Among the news of MasterChef 2024 there is theall ina sort of wild card that will allow the cook to get 5 more minutes. In exchange, he will renounce any possible stand by: he will only become an official competitor with unanimity. Speeches from special guests are expected to help the judges choose the contestants.

Among other innovations, the Blind Test
At the end of the two episodes dedicated to Live Cooking you will have the Masterclass, which is not yet complete due to the cooks on stand by. These will be subjected to the Blind Test. The new test consists in convince only the judge who had expressed a negative opinion. They will be able to try relying solely on the dish.
That is, each judge will summon his own group of chefs on standby and assign them a technical test as he wishes. When the time runs out, he will taste the dishes without knowing the creator. A sort of blind test.
The tests to be taken and the external tests
Once the Masterclass has been completed, the usual tests will begin. In every episode, the competitors will face the Mystery Box, which will allow them to obtain the Golden Pinor the golden pin, which the best will be able to attach to his apron. Sort of immunity which he will be able to take advantage of before tasting the elimination tests and in this way save himself or other competitors, giving them the balcony.

During the episodes the contestants will also be judged by the guests. Starred chefs who have won the acclaim of critics and customers in Italy and abroad. In addition to following the episodes of MasterChef Italy 2024cooking and program enthusiasts will be able to follow MasterChef Magazinebroadcast every day from Friday 20 December at 7.35pm. The protagonists will be chefs and aspiring chefs who will talk about food and create themed recipes.
Among the participants, also Eleonora Riso and Niccolò Califanocompetitor of the last edition, with the column Watch out for those two. Also present were the competitors of this Masterclass and Bruno Barbierithe longest-serving judge of the program, present since the first edition, who will create some dishes.
