Prime Minister Schoof and Defense Minister Brekelmans travel to Estonia to participate in the annual summit of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF). The summit will take place in Tallin on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 December 2024. The Prime Minister will attend the informal dinner of heads of state and government of the participating countries on Monday evening. Minister Brekelmans will participate in the JEF summit on Tuesday, December 17.
The Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) is a military partnership between several countries. In addition to the Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, the United Kingdom and Sweden are participating. The JEF can act independently, but also in support of NATO, UN or other partnerships.
