He is one of the first people to speak out about the alleged sexual abuse they suffered at the hands of Sean “Diddy” Combs: a man, anonymized as John Doe, recounts his alleged trauma triggered by the rap mogul’s alleged crimes .
On Tuesday (December 10), John Doe spoke with CNN. The man originally filed his lawsuit against Combs on Oct. 14. He claims he was drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs at one of Combs’ infamous White Parties in 2007.
“The whole gravity of the matter stays with me to this day”
The plaintiff spoke about his shame in front of the CNN camera. He didn’t even tell his partner about the incidents at the White Parties.
“The gravity of it still stays with me to this day,” Doe says from his home in New Jersey. The camera image is darkened, only its contours are visible in order to maintain anonymity. “It affects everything you do for the rest of your life.” Doe is the first plaintiff to speak about Combs in an interview with the media.
Doe worked as a security guard at Combs’ estate in East Hampton, New York. There he was filled with drinks laced with GHB and ecstasy, the lawsuit says. Doe felt uncomfortable. “It was an incredible level of incapacitation that I had never experienced before, and I felt powerless.”

Combs then pushed him into an empty vehicle. Held him there and abused him despite his cries for help. In his lawsuit, Doe seeks compensatory and punitive damages. But: “Nothing could give me back the person I was before that evening.”
However, some things remain unclear. The original lawsuit said the attack occurred in 2006, not 2007, and that John Doe was never married. In 2006, Combs’ White Party took place in St. Tropez, and in 2007 in the Hamptons – where the abuse is said to have occurred. CNN pointed out the discrepancies. Doe’s attorneys then filed an amended complaint with the court.

After the White Party, attempts were made to remove Doe from Combs’ environment. He said he was asked never to work for the security company again after he reported alleged abuse by Combs. “After that I was completely blacklisted. I had to find another area.”
He then gave up his job as a security guard completely. John Doe is now also divorced. In his lawsuit, he said he struggled with mental health issues in the years afterward.
And: a celebrity is said to have seen the abuse. And I found that good. “There was a well-known person who saw what happened and found it amusing.” The name has not yet been released.
Representatives for Combs declined to comment Tuesday on Doe’s allegations. The music producer is currently in federal custody in New York City awaiting trial on sex trafficking and organized crime charges. It should start in May 2025. Combs has pleaded not guilty and denied all allegations in about 30 civil lawsuits filed against him over the past year.
