Nyls Korstanje won the bronze medal in the 50 meter butterfly at the Short Course World Championships in Budapest. The 25-year-old Nijmegen resident finished in 21.68 behind the supreme world champion Noè Ponti from Switzerland and Ilya Kharun from Canada. It was the first medal for the Netherlands at the World Cup.
