This integrated solution enables brands to efficiently manage returns and exchanges by intelligently leveraging data from ERP software.
Available from February 2025, the returns and exchange portal enables brands to seamlessly manage returns by leveraging inventory and order data available in Itsperfect. Customers also benefit from a significantly more efficient process. You can be directly suggested alternative products, submit returns to a service point and easily track your return thanks to a URL on the packing slip.
Efficiency and customer friendliness for returns
According to Stefan Methorst, CEO of Itsperfect, the solution responds to an important trend: “In addition to all sales through retailers, fashion brands now often also use their own webshops and marketplaces. This makes returns management an important part of your business processes. Since all other processes are already available in Itsperfect, the only thing missing was an integrated returns portal. With the new portal, we offer an efficient solution for brands that ensures a positive customer experience, for example by recommending alternative products based on current inventory.”
Exchange with real-time inventory data
The returns and exchanges portal is fully integrated with Itperfect’s ERP software and allows brands to leverage order and inventory data in real time. With direct access to all previous data, Itperfect users can deploy the portal in the shortest possible time and without complicated implementation processes. The portal can be used not only for returns and exchanges of web shop orders, but also for marketplaces. In both cases, the customer can choose a different size or color of the same product during the return process. This commercial exchange is automatically activated once the return is received.
Clear returns processes
The portal can be used with Itsperfect’s own WMS as well as with all other logistics service providers. The seamless integration makes every step in the returns process easy to understand for the brand and the customer. As a customer, you can immediately track the status of your return and know whether the exchanged product has already left the warehouse. And as a brand, you have full visibility into the goods you have not yet received. The warehouse receipt is crucial to the return amount in case a customer changes his mind and returns more or fewer items than stated in advance notice.
Flexibility and insight
Another advantage is the additional flexibility that an integrated process offers. For example, transaction costs are eliminated because potential return costs can be offset directly against the refund amount. It is also possible to issue vouchers. Additionally, the returns and exchange portal displays return reasons directly in the ERP system, so you as a brand always have the right insights and analysis – from return rates to deviations in sizing and optimizing your web shop descriptions.
The returns and exchange portal will be launched in February and is only available in combination with Itsperfect’s ERP software.
