Taha Akgül and Selçuk Çebi will compete in the presidential election that will be held at the Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Wrestling Federation on December 18.
The Candidate Evaluation Commission of the Ministry of Youth and Sports examined the candidacy files of Akgül and Çebi. The commission decided that it had collected enough signatures from both names and accepted the nominations.
At the general assembly to be held in Ankara on December 18, Taha Akgül and Selçuk Çebi will be able to run for election to become the new president of the federation.
The current president, Şeref Eroğlu, announced that he would not be a candidate at the general assembly.
