Thirty social housing units will be built in Klazienaveen next year. The houses will be located on Stellingstraat, Molenwijk and Neptunusbaan.
According to housing association Lefier, these are gas-free homes on which solar panels have been installed. These must generate sufficient electricity for their own use. “For tenants, this means a low energy bill and a lot of living comfort.”
Of the thirty new homes, 25 will be located on Stellingstraat and Molenwijk. These are suitable for smaller households, not limited to a certain age. The other five homes will be located on the Neptunusbaan, on the other side of the village. These homes have room for three bedrooms.
According to Lefier, the plans will lead to ‘modern, energy-neutral and affordable homes’ in Klazienaveen. Construction will start early next year and should be completed by the end of 2025.
A walk-in meeting will be organized for local residents on Wednesday afternoon, December 11, in the De Molen neighborhood building.
