Sebastian Tynkkynen got permission to propose to his lover

Sebastian Tynkkynen (ps) was surprised by his loved one’s exit.

MEP Sebastian Tynkkynen (ps) received permission to propose during Iltalehti’s live broadcast.

Tynkyne and his loved ones Alan da Silva were in an interview with Iltalehti during the continuation of Linna’s celebrations on Independence Day.

The couple was asked which one of them would propose.

– He is proposing, da Silva said and motioned towards his partner.

The words made Tynkkynen gasp.

– Honey, this is the first time I’m hearing about this, and it’s happening live. You are brave, Tynkkynen was amazed.

– Thanks to you (the editors). Namely, now you managed to dig up something that he has never told me before.

– Now I have an official marriage license to propose to him. But I never thought it would happen under such circumstances.

Editor of Iltalehti Marko-Oskari Lehtonen told the couple that according to tradition, an engagement ring costs the equivalent of three months’ salary.

– I didn’t know that. “Sounds great,” da Silva said with a smile.

– Well, I guess I’ll have to get a slightly more expensive ring then, Tynkkynen commented.

The couple is currently looking for a rental apartment in Brussels. Tynkkynen says that there will be three shared homes. The actual home is located in Oulu and the work apartment is in Helsinki. The couple plans to buy a third apartment either in the core of Brussels or in the countryside outside the city.

– I have the same little dream of being able to move to the countryside and have an adopted child there in the peace of the countryside, Tynkkynen says.

– First citizenship, then engagement, then marriage, then children. Maybe four years could be such a good schedule.

The couple reveals that da Silva in particular dreams of having children.

– I have a dream to have five children. I plan to cook for them every day. I will have a Tiktok channel where I will prepare everything for them from scratch: butter, bread, everything, says da Silva.

“I will soon get Finnish citizenship”

A change is coming to the couple’s life soon, which will make life easier for them.

– I will soon get Finnish citizenship, says da Silva.

– Our life will become easier. Especially because he now works in Brussels. It’s easier for me to travel there because now I have some restrictions on how much I can be abroad.

The couple plans to celebrate da Silva’s citizenship with a Finnish-themed party.

– Let’s rent a big space and line it with Finnish flags, and there will be some Karelian pie and all that, Tynkkynen says.

– Let’s celebrate the fact that now he is moving into Finnish culture “officially”.
