The curtain rises on the last Formula 1 race of the 2024 season. The grand finale begins in Abu Dhabi on Friday, culminating in the Grand Prix on Sunday.
The battle for this year’s constructors’ championship is particularly exciting. McLaren is currently ahead here with 640 points. However, Ferrari’s gap is only 21 points. The Reds can still hope for their first title since 2008. For McLaren it would be the first constructors’ crown since 1998.
One or two decisions are still pending in the Drivers’ World Championship. For example, it is still unclear who will become runner-up. Lando Norris (349 points) currently has an advantage of just eight points over Charles Leclerc (341). Another exciting question is whether Nico Hülkenberg can defend his tenth place in the drivers’ standings. With 37 points, he is just ahead of Pierre Gasly (36) and Yuki Tsunoda (30).
