Roeselare honored its golden athlete Alexander Doom last night. Alexander Doom won gold twice at the World Indoor Athletics Championships, individually in the 400 meters and with the Belgian Tornados in the 4 times 400 meters. At the sports gala in De Spil, the athlete received a bag in which to store his gold medals in a few months’ time at the Olympic Games in Paris.
