The interim order means that Volendam will pay both men another five months’ salary (from December 1, 2023 to May 1). The duo is also entitled to a statutory transition payment. Ex-trainer Kohler may continue to live in the FC Volendam home until May 1.
The duo claims they are still entitled to an enforcement and development bonus. However, the arbitration committee has not yet made a decision on this. Jonk and Kohler have the opportunity to prove that they meet the requirements of those bonuses. They have two weeks to call witnesses for this.
