Horror Night
On Friday, March 8, Kinepolis in Zoetermeer will be celebrating an evening full of horror during the Horror Night. Prepare for a terrifying experience that will draw you into a world of suspense. During Horror Night, the cinema will show the film Imaginary, in which the boundary between fantasy and reality becomes blurred and an innocent teddy bear takes a dark turn.

Picking and trial walk
On Saturday March 9, 2024Benthuizen food forest, located just outside Zoetermeer, a picking and tasting walk for nature lovers. During this walk you will be accompanied by guides who will teach you more about edible plants. Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a choice of coffee or tea and a delicacy from the food forest. During the tour, the guides share insights about the forest and point out the various trees and plants that grow there. The activity ends with a tasting, held in the barn or on the terrace of Food Forest Benthuizen.

The Uncollection
From Friday, March 1, ‘the Uncollection’ at Museum De Voorde in Zoetermeer has opened its doors to the public for free. Visitors can discover regional historical treasures that are normally not publicly accessible. This initiative offers a look behind the scenes of the museum and shows the entire collection in the form of an open depot. Residents of Zoetermeer are invited to participate in the uncollecting process and help unravel the historical treasures that have been collected over the past thirty years.
The viewing days are on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until June 29 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.

Sweet Lake Sunday
On Sunday March 10 you can enjoy Sweet Lake Sunday with a workshop… at Release Dance Academy. Expect a large dance floor, air conditioning, free cloakroom and toilet, free parking, snacks and a cozy location.

Lip balm making workshop
Susanne Ramselaar from Zoetermeer is a beekeeper and will give a lip balm making workshop at De Honingpot beekeeping on Saturday, March 9. You will learn more about the honey bee, their beeswax and honey. The workshop lasts from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and costs 35 euros per person. Reservations are possiblehere.
