See: debit card fraudster talks himself into the home of an elderly lady from Castricum

The police shared camera image last week of the pinner, who makes off with the bank card of the lady from Castricum. She receives a phone call on December 9 last year. The elderly lady, she is almost 90 years old, is terrified about burglars on the loose.

According to the so-called ‘reliable bank employee’, the solution is to give cash and then store it somewhere safe.

The debit card fraudster is standing in the porch of the apartment. The camera image above shows that the man gives himself access to the hall of the apartment complex and rings the lady’s doorbell. When she opens the door, he walks to the victim’s home.

At her front door she gives him 800 euros in cash. That money had actually been set aside by the woman to buy a new washing machine. But in reality the suspect does not store it in a safe or at the bank, but puts it in his own pocket.

The lady also hands in her debit card to him and gives him the corresponding code. This means that on December 9 last year, debit card payments were made several times at ATMs in Amsterdam, as can be seen in the camera image below.

The stolen bank card is used to make several debit card payments, but the police doubt whether the same person is always visible in the images. It could therefore concern one or more suspects. In any case, one suspect who pins is wearing a Moncler jacket.
