The dressage rider Gabriela Grillo died on Sunday at the age of 71.
Grillo was one of the most successful dressage riders of her time; she celebrated her greatest success in the saddle of Ultimo, on which she won the team gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
She also became team world champion twice and won team gold at the European Championships three times. Her medal collection also included six German championships.
