Spain’s footballers have qualified for the Olympic Games for the first time. The world champions won the Nations League semi-final against the Netherlands 3-0 (2-0) and thus secured one of the two remaining tickets for Paris.
Jenni Hermoso (41st) and Aitana Bonmati (45th) scored a double blow in Seville before the break. Ona Batlle (77th) increased the score after the break. The Oranje team will now play for the second ticket to the Olympics in the small final in Heerenveen on Wednesday.
