Russia: Attacks on Mariupol and Volnovakha continue

According to the Russian military, it has continued its attacks on the Ukrainian city of Mariupol and the city of Volnowacha.

The fighting continued at 4 p.m. (CET), the Ministry of Defense in Moscow announced on Saturday evening, according to the Interfax agency.

The Ukrainian side had previously accused Russia of violating the agreed ceasefire. There has been a ceasefire since 8 a.m. to allow residents to be evacuated via humanitarian corridors.

BUT: according to the Mariupol city administration, Russian troops violated the ceasefire! They continued shelling Mariupol, the city’s residents were supposed to return to the shelters.
