A van that was parked next to a house on the Leyhof in Den Bosch was destroyed by fire last night. The house also suffered some damage. The fire was reported just after half past two. When the fire brigade arrived at the house, flames were coming out of the van. The commercial vehicle was completely on fire and was completely destroyed.
It is unclear how the fire started. The police have not yet been able to determine whether the fire was started by ‘third parties’. There were a number of gas bottles in the van. These were removed from the vehicle by the fire brigade and then cooled. The trailer behind the van was spared. Despite the time of night, the fire attracted a lot of attention.
