FOOTBALL – FC Emmen goalkeeper Michael Brouwer has been named best goalkeeper of the third period in the Kitchen Champion Division. It earns the keeper a bronze championship shield. Brouwer received the most votes from the trainers and captains of all Keuken Kampioen Division clubs and the supporters of all clubs.

Brouwer stayed ahead of his colleagues Mike Havekotte (Helmond Sport), Nigel Bertrams (FC Eindhoven) and Filip Stankovic (FC Volendam).

Incidentally, it was the second time that Brouwer was shortlisted. Also in the second period, the least passed goalkeeper of the competition was one of the best keepers.

Other winners

Joey Sleegers of FC Eindhoven won the bronze championship shield for best player, Johan Bakayoko of Jong PSV for best talent and Rob Penders of FC Eindhoven for best trainer.
