Lthe most fashionable social event there is: the Met Gala. The event traditionally held in New York on first Monday of May is ready to “awaken” in 2024. And while preparations are underway, some details have already been revealed that promise to capture the attention of audiences around the world.

In addition to Anna Wintoura trustee of the Met since 1999 and patron of the event since 1995, last year’s co-hosts – Penélope Cruz, Michaela Coel, Roger Federer, Dua Lipa – will be replaced in 2024 by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny And Chris Hemsworth.

4. The dress code
Not just fashion treasures to be revealed to the general public. The Met Gala, with its exclusive red carpet, also features a dress code: The Garden of Times. The dress code is inspired by the short story of the same name by the English writer JG Ballardpublished in 1962. A fantasy story: the garden of the title is full of magical flowers which, once picked, slow down the advance of an army that attacks a couple of nobles who live isolated in a villa dedicating themselves only to art, idleness and beauty.
