Acclaimed Los Angeles-based fashion brand 7 For All Mankind is proud to announce the launch of its Spring/Summer 2024 campaign, aptly titled “Forever LA, Forever Mankind.”
Forever LA, Forever Mankind is a love letter to the vibrant and diverse city of Los Angeles, the birthplace of the brand almost two decades ago. The campaign celebrates the city’s unique culture and distinctive perspectives and aims to showcase the unique cosmopolitanism and attitudes of the city’s creative residents as a wonderful backdrop for 7 For All Mankind’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
7 For All Mankind chose renowned celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi to design the Spring/Summer 2024 campaign. Mizrahi has worked with A-list talent including Jennifer Lawrence, Adele, Riley Keough, Jeremy Allen White, Katy Perry and Nicole Richie, to name a few to call. Her unique perspective as an LA-based stylist made her the perfect fit to design the campaign.
“My personal style fits the brand’s classic yet chic aesthetic. For me, styling is about capturing a lifestyle, and 7 For All Mankind embodies that effortless cool factor,” recalls stylist Jamie Mizrahi. “I still remember my first pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans. As someone who lives in denim, collaborating with the brand was not only a playful and visceral experience for me, but also a nod to where many of us began our style journey – with this unforgettable pair that stands the test of time.”
Mizrahi brought her styling expertise to the shoot, seamlessly merging her own classic, relaxed California style with the brand’s ethos of being a California lifestyle brand.
“We’re excited to introduce more bold and fashionable fits this season. While we believe denim is time-tested, experimenting with new shapes allows our customers to express themselves, making denim more than just a wardrobe staple, but a true statement.” – Sacha Gomez de Zamora Ford, Global President 7 For All Mankind.
The campaign pays homage to the industrial history of Los Angeles and the denim industry and was shot in three quintessential Los Angeles locations that together form the beautiful backdrop and topography of Los Angeles – “The Boulevard” scenes were just shot in Los Feliz Shot off the legendary Sunset Boulevard and featuring a notable restaurant, Little Dom’s and a retro car wash, which were often the subject and backdrop of esteemed photographers Ed Ruscha and Stephen Shore. “The Canyon” images were shot at Wright Ranch, which offered scenic views of LA’s historic mountains and canyons, home to legendary musicians such as Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Jim Morrison. “The Beach” photos were taken at Westward Beach in Malibu. These images, taken at sunset, show the scenic shores of Point Dume, which have been featured in some of Hollywood’s biggest films, including “Heat,” “The Big Lebowski” and “Nocturnal Animals.”
Each painterly moment highlights the brands’ fresh take on this season’s must-haves, including two standout silhouettes: The Willow and The Ryan. The Willow is a statement jean from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection by 7 For All Mankind. With a dramatically exaggerated palazzo fit, Willow is unlike anything 7 For All Mankind has ever done before. The extremely wide leg gives the denim a beautiful drape and flow, for a finish that is simultaneously effortless yet elegant. Ryan has a relaxed men’s fit that feels casual but not underdressed. A modern take on the straight leg, Ryan sits loosely from hip to hem for a relaxed look that can be worn every day.
The Spring 2024 collection introduces a California Western aesthetic, modernized with bold shapes, with new hero denim silhouettes “Willow” for women and “Ryan” for men. Decorative rivets and detailed details such as stitching and rivets decorate a variety of styles. From runway dresses with corset seams to must-haves like denim column and maxi skirts, the collection combines iconic fits with daring twists.
The Spring and Summer 2024 global campaigns were photographed by Sonia Szóstak for women and Jeremy Everett for men and cast by Jennifer Starr. The cast includes Malaika Holmén, Amanda Murphy, Albert Reed, Jacob Bixenman and Remi Chester.
The Spring/Summer 2024 collection from 7 For All Mankind launches worldwide on February 13th. For exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the campaign shoot and to stay up to date on all things 7 For All Mankind, follow @7ForAllMankind.
