Criticism on social media about image failure
Fans were still upset on social media. They wrote, among other things: “No picture at the gate” or “DAZN is now charging 45 euros and can’t manage to run a proper stream.”
Viewers’ main criticism of DAZN was the transmission problems regarding the subscription costs for the streaming service. If you want to watch live football from the Bundesliga or the Champions League on DAZN, you currently need the “Unlimited” package when purchasing a new subscription. This also includes the Women’s Bundesliga, Women’s Champions League, NFL, NBA and soccer games from other European leagues.
It costs 29.99 euros per month if the annual total is paid immediately as a one-off payment. It is also possible to pay 44.99 euros per month if the viewer wants to be flexible when it comes to cancellation. The subscription costs are therefore not the same for all fans and depend on the packages offered.
