THE MOST MOVING TEAM ADANA DEMİRSPOR
The team that had the most active interim transfer period was Yukatel Adana Demirspor, which parted ways with many star players. Adana representative transferred 9 players. The second transfer and registration period, called “intermediate transfer” in football, has closed. In the transfer that started on January 11 and lasted approximately 1 month, 19 of the 20 clubs competing in the Trendyol Super League included 87 players in their squads.
63 of the recruited football players were foreign nationals and 24 were local players. The 63 foreign football players added to the squad by the Super League representatives carry the passports of 39 countries.
MOST SENEGALI AND ALBANIANS
Super League representatives transferred the most Senegalese and Albanian football players in intermediate transfers.
Among the foreign players transferred in the interim transfer, the most transferred players were Senegalese and Albanians, with 5 football players from the country. Italians and Brazilians ranked second with four players each, and Ivory Coast ranked third with 3 players.
In the Super League, where two players from Belgium, Croatia, Cameroon, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal and Serbia were transferred, one each from Germany, Angola, Ecuador, France, Ghana, South Korea, Haiti, Honduras, England, Iran, Spain and Kazakhstan. The oldest football player signed a contract in the second transfer and registration period was Salvotore Sirigu.
